It was an immense success. Congradulations to all CSA volunteers for making it happen,specially Ruthy and Svati and ofcourse how can you forget our dear TROUP LEADER Vandana....Cheers to the Norwegians. You guys did an amazing job. It was really touching to see the kids enjoy themselves so much. It was worth all the hard work we put in. Today was the first time I spoke infront of an audience at the Christ audi.WOW!!wasnt that scarey???All in all it was wonderful. P.S.Chettan's guitar playing[ahem ahem]was AWESOME!!!!!!

Sunil Chandy my mentor.

He is leaving. I met Chandy when I first went for my choir audition in Christ College. Man did he amaze me from day one... He is one person who has been my mentor throughout and has helped me in developing my vocal abilites as well as discipline, and my overall personality. It is a dream to play the guitar like he does. He is just magnificent. He is the only person in college who i have loved from the start until the bitter end where he leaves us. I do wish him well. I will miss you sir.

LTTE- the most ruthless terrosist group??

K. Narayan Swami wrote his book " Inside an Elusive Mind"-Prabhakaran,and he said that its the first ever profile of the worlds most ruthless guerilla leader. You could say that they have committed many atrocities and killed/maimed many people, but what made them so mentally strong to do all of them? Do we ever put into question the fact that there may be more to this than just a guerilla group fighting for a divided section of Sri Lanka? The LTTE is bad, dirty, evil, "We condemn their actions",heartless..... and the list goes on. This is what we hear from the international community as well as the so called politicians and the masses inSri Lanka. Well ironically it is the same people who say the LTTE is dirty, evil, cruel and "bad" who fund them and supply them with arms and ammuniton so that they get a dim sum out of the "ethnic conflict" happening for the past so many years in Sri Lanka. The Indians came and they were defeated, then the Norwegians came and the rest is silence..................!!

The Sinhalese only policy and the ethnic cleansing of the minority, the tamils added more fuel in to the flames that were already ablaze. It did not do any good for us sinhalese or the muslims or the christians. Our people lost their lives, though the sinhalese massacred the tamils in more brutal ways. The economy got drowned in foreign cries which said "Oh God, Sri Lanka is not safe, we advice all foreign nationals to evacuate as fast as possible". The airport was attacked twice. Many people were killed but some of the scum were killed as well. So it cleaned up Sri Lanka a bit, would you say?. I would not think so. I would not give out the reason because I have to be "politically correct"......WHAT A JOKE!!!

Gracias, organized by the Centre for Social Action, Christ College-happening on the 29th of feb 2007[ friday] at 12.00 pm at the main auditorium. The sponsored children from the Rajendranagar slum will be performing for us christites in thanksgiving. So be there and encourage them and also have fun!!!!
