blah blah blah!!!

Finally...the visits to the vet are over.Hopefully my doggiboy will be all right by next week. The weather is ok today I guess..kinda sunny!! Dad is arriving tommorow!!YIPEE!!!!that means lots of chocolate. A family wedding is coming up and the whole Jing Bang will be here.. so good because I get to meet everyone.I am on holiday and I have all the time in the world to do what I want. I have become quite a glutton. But it will go off when I go back to India..as the food there is less fattening.Cant be bothered excercising really..

Live and Let Live.thats my message to Prabhakaran today.

Situation Report

well..holidays so far have been all right I guess. My dalmation [Buddy] was diagnosed with stones in his bladder..so here we go. We had to do emergency surgery and now he is on the path to recovery. I had to take him for one week for saline twice a day and I guess ill have to open a new bank account for my doggi boy. Been reading alot. Finished Message in a Bottle by Nicholas Sparks..WOW!! Its such a moving novel. He writes with so much passion and emotion.WOW!! is all what I can say now. I also read God of small things by Arundathi Roy.. the language is amazing.Such perfect use of language. Now reading Fidel Castros autobiography. Dad is coming back from china on thursday.

The situation in the country is really not good. There was a huge attack in Muhumalai where hundreds of our soldiers died and were injured likewise, its so sad, but to find a solution to this 20+ years long ethnic conflict seems absolutely impossible. Well, the Iranian president has been kind enough to start some developmet projects here, but god only knows how long they will last with a BUFOON like Mahinda implementing them.

The weather has been quite freaky..rain train rain train rain train.... FLOODS FLOODS FLOODS!!!WAR WAR WAR!!!TERROR TERROR!!!BOMBS BOMBS BOMBS!!!]

well thats it for now..

Return of the prodigal son!!!

I am back home...finally!!Its been great so far. The food is delightful...all those spicy vegetable dishes, fish fish and fish..yumm!!!A welcome change from the mandane chicken momo's and thalis. Met up with a friend..spent time with my brother, played table tennis with him. The doggies welcomed me back with glee. It felt nice to be amongst them again. I took my dalmation [ my friend] for a walk. He is my favourite though he is a bit of a tube light. His vaccinations are due tommorow, so yeiii!!!i get a visit to the vet. I spent sometime reminiscing over the past one year in Bangalore. It has been a great year, with me doing things I have never even thought of before. I learnt a large amount of things in such a short period. I have actually begun to take interest in academics and actually study well before an exam. I am shocked and so are my parents. I guess being independant helped alot. I had to be responsible for my actions. I became so interested, specially in psychology that I am now called, Junior Sigmund Freud, by my friends. BOOKS A GALORE!!!I bought some 15 books to read over the holidays and man o man are they superb??I feel so close to them and they communicate quite articulately everythin they wish to communicate. The love for reading, well thanks to my dad, mom and ofcourse my favourite cousin, I developed it from a very young age, having read all the famous five and the five find outer books, well I had to move on to serious stuff and here I am,reading books like the origin of species by Darwin. It has been a great journey so far where reading is concerned. It helped in my spiritual development alot. I developed emotional intelligence by reading, by understanding how other people feel and think.

Sri Lanka..what a country to live in. Its great to be back.

Exams

Well I have finished 3 papers so far. It feels good,.to have two more left.It is also frustrating because my parents are coming here for a holiday and I have to study at the same time.To look at the bright side I am going home on the 17th. PHEW!!what a long year it has been. Feels great to finish first year of college and to know that another 2 years are yet to come. I accomplished alot this year. Made new friends. It was worth it.

Cant wait to go home!!!
