Is there a supernatural element in the world? We believe that the birds and the bees and the rocks and the plains were created by one godly figure, who maybe Jesus Christ, Allah etc. We will never know for sure. It is only a belief and a believer does not know for sure. We just believe for the sake of believing. We believe to stay out of hell. We believe because we are forced to as we are born. We believe because of education. We believe because of the “apparent” healing power god has. Life is not complete without strife, without suffering and without pain. People pray to be happy, to be content, to own, to prosper and to live. God does not exist, if at all he does exist for the mere healing of people. He taught us human beings something valuable as it is said in the Holy Scriptures. Do we follow what he has taught us? Do we stop to think whether merely going to a place of worship and praying would make us any better? I am sure it will clear our conscience. But is that the point of believing in god? Is it just to feel holy and spiritual? Is it to be known around social circles as being religious and god fearing? It simply does not make any sense sometimes. Of course we all feel better after being near “god” and asking for miracles. But don’t we have to fight for miracles? We being the superior species intellectually should believe that god is merely there as a beacon. We have to set ourselves about following his teaching and making a life for ourselves. God is not going to swoop down from the skies and give you babies or build houses for you. He is just a figure in our lives. It is sometimes sickening to witness the same “holy” people who go to places of worship, killing, maiming, torturing mankind. Religion is one of the main reasons for all the bloodshed that takes place today. Is it worth it? Did god create Adam and Eve for this? Did he want the very people he created dead in an instant flash, be it a suicide bomb or a stabbing. We create misery, not god if ever there is one. So don’t pour all the blame on the poor sod. It’s just not fair.
