Life is like a roller coaster ride. It has its up’s and down’s. It offers so much, but most of us do not take what it has to offer. In a philosophical context, life is like a war. We have our own battles to fight, we win and we lose at the same time. We are injured bodily and spiritually. We are carefree and we are burdened. We find friends, we lose them. We find love, we lose love. It is an endless cycle. We fight and we move on to other lands. We conquer everything nature gives us. Greed takes hold of us, grief also takes it toll on us. Could life ever be perfect? No. It is so uncertain. We never know when the end is and how near it is. We fight against time and space. We fill up every nook and cranny around us. We indulge in varieties of good deeds and misdeeds. We conquer the world as human beings. Are we happy? Happiness is momentary. It comes and goes, just like everything else. The believers and the non believers have their own wars to wage, the Muslims and the Hindus have their own battles, and the Jews have their own conflicts. So are we ever happy? That remains a question to be unanswered. It will never be answered. Life becomes a huge burden on all of us, whether it is war-peace, love-hate or anything for that matter. We homosapiens never know the true value of happiness or freedom. We just move on with the drone of life, like a plane moves on with the drone of its engines. We never take a break to review ourselves but we have all the time to review others. That’s what makes human life so ugly. Animals do not dream of criticizing or analyzing anyone. They live in harmony with nature. They give back to the nature as much as they take from it. We don’t. We only grab whatever is offered to us like cannibals. We dream of better tomorrows, better lives and better living. Does it really make any sense? We only dream, we never wade through the rough seas to achieve what we dream. We are like stillborns. We just stay put and whine about things we don’t have. Our minds take us on a bigger roller coaster ride and if we do not know when to say “ENOUGH”, the waves of life surpasses us.
