How many people visit the gym today? It has become a fad. "Machan lets hit the gym tommorow". This is a phrase we hear often amongst the young crowd today. I am being slightly hypocritical in writing this because I happened to visit a gym for two days so far as I had to burn off some emergency fat. All those complicated machinery and weights, give me the creeps. Most gyms do not have qualified instructors to oversee the weight training that goes on.Accidents could happen, and even so there could be bodily changes that one will realize later on in life and then the "shit hits the fan" [pardon the bad pun].
Running on your own does the same thing running on a treadmill does. God gave us two legs to run on bare land and not on these weird looking machinery. Being muscular and lanky is cool but is the gym the only way you can achieve that? Many people seem to think so. Running early morning and doing a good 50 pushups "without" the use of any machinery, could make you nice and trim. Sport is also ideal to keep fit, and there are so many of them available these days. This is not like a all out criticism of gyms, ofcourse they might be a convenient alternative for the busy people around but if you could find 30 mins a day for a nice run, think of how much good it will do to you.Training in those clausterphobic gyms seriously should be given a second thought. People always take the easy way out of things. The world has detiriorated so much because of this.
Well, ultimately its a choice you make.

Nice blog :) Keep up the great work
And yeah, I agree with the whole gym business but I guess with the very tight schedules people have and their convenient lifestyles, exercise is a just a need to be healthy...
Everything revolves around convenience these days, so the quick results is what allures the consumers :)
But yeah, if we all stopped using machines for every darn thing, we'll get a lot more exercise done very naturally!
xx

I go to the gym.. alright so I'm not exactly "young" and people don't generaly "machan" me..
I don't think I can honestly go out running in the state the country is today. I'm not a morning person, so it's usually after 6 in the evening when I do "hit the gym".
I'd love to feel the wind in my face while running but its not a luxury I can afford.. Maybe one day..
And "emergency fat" hehehe you are too funny !!
