The art of hot milk

I came home after getting soaked in the rain,in Cubbon park, but it was worth it. I took off my clothes, which were now stuck to my body, and had a nice long, bath (aadigudus). I put some hot water to boil and took out my Anchor milk powder( Sri Lankan),put two spoons in my cup,and 5 teaspoons of sugar and mixed it.

Now,I waited till the water came to it's boiling point, when it was angry, hot and bubbling. And, 'tack'. the switch went down, and it was done.

I took down the kettle from it's pedestal, and poured some water into my cup. Ah, the creamy white image that formed, delightful.

I mixed , mixed and mixed. The white beauty swirling inside the cup, around and around, waiting to be calmed by the ceasing of my hand operating the spoon.

I stopped, took it to the computer table, and took my first exhilarating sip of warm, sweet creamy milk. Ah, the warm waves flowing through my body, with each sip,it became such a beautiful experience.

I sipped, drank, swirled it in my mouth, and swallowed. Ah the solemn goodness, of a warm cup of milk.

I loved every sip, every molecule of liquid, of that fresh, white foamy milk.

Fantastic!!!
